10 BASIC PRINTING TECHNIQUES IN THE PRINTING INDUSTRY TODAY
1In1. Print AB
It is a basic printing technique on two sides of paper with completely different contents. after printing the first face (A) must proceed to replace the entire new zinc plate to print the 2nd face (B). In AB, the cost is higher than self-rending because of the need to export 2 sets of films, the printing work is usually more than double. Often used for printingnewspapers, printing catalogues.
AB printing is one of the basic printing techniques today. 2. Flexo Printing
Flexo printing (flexography) is the technique of floating printing, the print elements (images, letters..) on the print mold are higher than the non-printed elements. The image on the reverse printing mold, which is issued with anilox axis, then transmits the ink directly to the printed material through the printing press. Flexo printing is used to print products such as cartonprinting, printing of decal labels, printing of membranes...
3. Silk printing
Silk printing is a form in basic printing techniques. Silk printing is a common name given by workers from the time the mesh of the mold was made of silk. Then, when the silk mesh can be replaced by other materials such as cotton fabric, chemical fiber fabric, metal mesh to make, the name is expanded as mesh printing. Silk printing follows the same principle as printing oil ink on stencils on the principle that only part of the ink is absorbed through the printing mesh, printed on the printed material because before that, some other meshes have been sealed by specialized chemicals. This technique can be applied to many materials to be printed such as nylon, fabric, glass, watch face, electronic circuitry, some metal products, wood, paper ... or used in place of the under-glazed drawing method in the production of ceramic tiles.
4. Offset printing
Offset printing is a printing technique in which ink adhesive images are pressed onto rubber sheets (also known as offset sheets) first and then pressed from this piece of rubber onto paper. When used with sandstone printing, this technique avoids the water sticking to the paper according to the ink.
Offset printing is also a basic printing technique that is popular with many people. 5. Print proof:
Sample prints are used to test how standard printer color and design files are. Proof tables are often used for customers to sign print colors. It should be noted that proof printing is standard for offset printing in colors not printed on color printers with inkjet or lazer printing technology.
6. Sandstone:
Also known as lithium printing, stone printing, is a method of printing on smooth surfaces. A similar technique has been developed for the production of led devices and MEMS.
7. Print by yourselfin
It's the same two-sided printing. After printing one side of the machine will return the head to print the second side.
8. In Typo
This is the first and most ancient printing method invented by the Chinese but the grandfather of the printing industry is german Johannes Gutenberg. Typo printing principle is high printing i.e. on typo print frame images, letters ... located above, higher than the nonprinting part, when printing we rub the ink through the printed frame surface, the higher located elements will receive ink and then when pressed in, the ink will pass through the printed surface and create the shape or letter to be printed.
9. UV Printing:
It is the use of UV ink in the printing process – When using UV silk ink, we will create many "ART" effects and print on many materials with high productivity and quality.
10. Copper pipeprinting:
This printing technique is characterized by the image details, the text to be printed will be indented into a metal printing axis. When printing, the ink will be applied to the print mold and thanks to the pressure of the machine the parts to be printed on the surface of the material.
Often this printing technique is used for printing in large quantities such as printing press, printing packaging, ...
